Tharparkar CowTharparkar Cows are known for their high milk production rate. This breed of cows can sustain under different environmental conditions. Their milk production capacity is around 1135 kg per lactation. This breed of cattle has been named after a province located in Sind. These have average 138 cm height and their average weight is 408 kg. Tharparkar Cows are generally kept in herds having around 300 animals maximum and daily contact with people is needed to prevent these from being wild as well as shy. Commonly referred as Thari, Gray Sindhi and White Sindhi, this breed of cattle has medium and compact shape.
